NERVOUS SYSTEM TRAINING

This is a rare and complex method of training, putting the body in a hyper speed state using twitches and over speed training. We all know that the brain is in control of all movement. So we have to understand how this works. When we make contact with something, an impulse shoots to the brain by way of millions of neurons. We can stimulate this neurological process by doing athletic twitches. When we twitch we actually move faster then we do in one singular fluid motion.

Here's an example. When we run the foot strikes the ground causing the leg to roll behind the hip and the momentum from that shoots the knee forward which causes the quad to fire and extend forward as the foot hits the ground again. What if we took each part of that particular motion of the running mechanic and trained it separately using twitches, which would be much faster than an athlete could run step for step on a track? I think nervous system training is something that we do that is years ahead of its time and a great way to build speed without putting stress on the body.
